Music of the Week – The Slow Readers Club

Who? Manchester-based-indie band with Aaron Starkie on lead vocals/keyboard, Kurtis Starkie on vocals/guitar, James Ryan on bass and Neil Turvin on drums.

Which song? Sirens, their first single which was released on 31st of October 2011.

Why? This song has been stuck in our head since the very first time we listened to it. With the impressive guitar intro, followed by a charismatic vocal and their hypnotic sound, The Slow Readers Club certainly knows how to write great music that will pull you into their deep and dark music. As a debut single, Sirens will definitely mark their musical journey to the brighter and promising level.
